MOT Testing

The MOT Test checks that your vehicle meets road safety and environmental standards. Cars over three years old must, by law, pass a yearly MOT test to prove they are still roadworthy. An MOT Test can be carried out up to 28 days before your MOT runs out, meaning you can have a maximum of a 13-month Mot.

MOT Tests requirements are stringently set out by the DVLA. An MOT Test consists of the following tests:
